clix 3 and Four More irivers Announced
iriver 2007 - iriverFans.com - iriver(°¬ÀûºÍ)·¢ÉÕÍøÕ¾
Top left?
clix 3
1.3" 33GB HDD, 3.0" LCD
November release.

6.8mm thick, 4.1" AMOLED screen
A direct competitor to the Yepp P2 and iPod touch? I am looking forward more to this mystery device than the clix 3 because the clix 3's hard drive will lag, drain the battery, and one day crash.

there is no way that's the new clix...
it doesn't even look like it has D-click.
looks more like maybe an X20 sequel

If you'll notice by reading the post, that is not the clix 3. That is an unknown MP4 player. Looks as though it will have a touch screen. There will be no other X20 redux.

What are those devices to the left and right of the geeky S10 watch? One of them looks like that G10 "wing" player that got canceled. I guess the clix 3 looks like the clix 2.

I have no idea what to the left but to the right it looks like a G10.
The left one looks like a pyramid of some sort. I think the player top left is the clix2 not the clix3.
Because all the players in that collage aren't new players.
MAN, I can't wait for the unit2!!!!!

The top left isn't the clix3. This image was probably taken from that one.

It looks like the exact same thing as the top left.

I'm just putting pieces together. iriver announces a third generation to their acclaimed clix series and doesn't show off a picture at their press junction? For all we know, iriver could have stuck with the soap design of the clix 2.

The screen looks the same size, and the player looks the same shape. Even if they announced the clix 3, they may not have designed it yet, so they just pictured the clix 2 in my opinion.

Here's to hoping for a higher-capacity Clix-like DAP with all the features of the Clix! I'd love to see one of those.

Well it's rumored to be 33gb HDD so I don't think they're gonna fit it in the same case.

Wouldn't it be neat if iriver was planning on using the Samsung 32GB SSD drive for their new "hard drive" player?

lol the hdd just doesn't do it for me. when's iriver gonna step to the likes of creative and cowon to offer 16gb flash... i think that's gonna be the new industry standard. and iriver doesn't seem like it's even developing it.
one more thing, i hope this host of new daps have better battery life. almost all, if not all its competitors' (meizu/cowon/creative/apple) 06/07 players have better batt life than the clix 2. i'm not talking about rated life. i'm talking abt real-life application life. with the industry churning out 50 hour audio playback players... 20 hours (actual app) just don't cut it no more...

read the post two above yours...
if iriver would use the sammy ssd drive, they'd have hdd capacity with flash drive access and stability.
without going into the economics of it all, iriver simply cannot compete with a creative, sandisk or apple for flash memory pricing.
