well you all know, if it works why fix it? leave the firmware 1.14 there unless you have a problem with your clix. besides, i don't think this 1.15 is Rhapsody compatible is it?

Where does one get 1.15? When I run the firmware updater, it tells me I'm up-to-date with 1.14.

I've noticed, after using this new Firmware for about a week, that along with being able to do other things while listening to the Radio, the player has been starting up much faster after leaving it turned off overnight.

to get firmware 1.15, you can't get it from the firmware update, you have to have the iriver software.

for those of you who don't care for the software, its no big deal to install. I installed it, and only use it for firmware updates (like the 1.15) 1.14 is the latest pulled by the stand alone firmware software. There are no security issues that I've noticed, or forced associations with the Iriver software. I'm a big security freak, with Zone Alarm Pro and that software keeps all other software in their place, and announces forced associations, even when one program calls another program, i have to authorize it. I didn't get anything like that when I installed the Iriver software, so don't feel threatened.

I don't understand, why this Firmware isn't present at official site www.iriver.com And why is it available only via Iriver Plus 3, but not via Iriver Firmware Upgrader?

It might not be on the global site and the MTP server yet (which is why MTP updater can't pick it up), it is, however, listed on the Korean site.

I noticed that since upgrading from 1.14 - 1.15 when i copy files from my current file manager xplorer2 I no longer have to rebuild the database. The file show up fine. Interesting fix that certainly helps me

I can't understand, why this new firmware isn't still at the international Iriver site. And why is it available only via Iriver Plus 3, but not Iriver Firmware Upgrader??

P.S. I've noticed a bug removed: when I change SRS WoW settings during playing a file (when EQ is set to SRS) and then I change EQ to any other no longer results in a repugnant squeak (until I skip the playing track).
